We are busily getting ready for our upcoming nuptials. Plans are starting to come together as the bridesmaids and I are going to look at dresses this weekend...should be fun and hopefully prosperous! We are going to send out invitations this month-so be looking for them in your mail. Out of town guests will need to book their hotels soon! We'll include the information with the invites, but check out Pine Mountain, GA if you'd like and see what they have to offer at: www.pinemountain.org/
I am a little stressed, but trying to enjoy the process! I mean I plan big events at work all the time, so you'd think this would come naturally or something...but it's so different when it's for you-by you-and meant to please all your closest of friends and family.
Well, to stop dwelling and start brightening! I wanted to post some of our holiday pictures. We had a wonderful Christmas at home with the family. We were all truly blessed as Santa was good to all of us this year. The kids got their Wii (thank you ebay), Scott got a corn hole game (the only thing is I beat him I think about 5 times-but whose counting!), and I got my UGA gear-GO DAWGS!!! Cathy, Polly and I cooked Christmas dinner. I tried to make homemade stuffing and pumpkin pies (from scratch) for the first time. Kaylea was a wonderful taste tester. Scott helped by throwing around the football and baseball with Kobie.
New Year's Eve was our three year anniversary. Where did the time go? We went to our favorite Italian spot- Johnny Carrino's and indulged for the last time before we get in shape for the wedding. We rang in the New Year at home-I love it that way. Peaceful, private and making true memories-ones you'll actually remember (if ya know what I mean?)...... Hoping you all have a very prosperous and peaceful New Year in 2008.
